Temporal brow lift is a variation of endoscopic forehead lift and is selected for patients in which the central portion of the brow and forehead is in good position while the lateral outer one third of the brow is completely flat or slanted downwards.

What Can This Surgery Change?

A temporal brow lift is designed to fix sagging, folds, and small wrinkles in the brow area, forehead, and corners of the eyes.

About The Surgical Procedure

In this procedure a 3 - 4 cm incision is made above the ear behind the hairline and the skin and muscles of the outer one third of the brow are then suspended into position such that there is a graceful curve to the outer one third of the eyebrow. In many instances this procedure is combined with a upper blepharoplasty. This procedure requires minimal down time and many patients will be able to return to normal activities within five to ten days.

A temporal brow lift is less invasive than a traditional brow lift because it targets sagging only around the eyebrows and eyes. The texture of the skin is not changed by a brow lift. While a brow lift cannot stop the aging process, it will result in a smoother and firmer brow than if you hadn't had this procedure. The results of the procedure are different for every individual.

ARE YOU RIGHT FOR THIS SURGERY?

Healthy individuals with a positive outlook and realistic expectations are appropriate candidates for this cosmetic procedure. Brow surgery is a highly individualized procedure and you should do it for yourself, not to fulfill someone else’s desires, or to try to fit some sort of ideal image.  For more information or to book an appointment, contact us.
